📍 SESSION PREP GUIDE:

How to Prepare for Your Bluebonnet Session 🌿✨

1. Arrive Early ⏳

  • Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your way to the bluebonnet fields. The park requires an entrance fee: $5 per adult, kids 12 & under are free (pay at the park station upon arrival).

2. What to Wear 👗

  • The key to stunning photos is wearing colors that help you stand out while still feeling natural in the setting. Avoid blues, purples, and greens—they’ll blend into the wildflowers! Instead, opt for:
✔️ Neutrals & Earthy Tones – Whites, creams, tans, rust, sage, soft pastels
✔️ Flowy, Comfortable Clothing – Dresses, linen shirts, and outfits with movement photograph beautifully
🚫 Avoid stiff, structured clothing and bright, neon, or highly manufactured colors that will feel out of place in nature

3. Be Ready to Move & Have Fun! 🎉

  • Expect to walk, twirl, and maybe even sit on the ground (I’ll have a blanket for sitting poses). Relaxed, candid moments are what make these photos magical!

4. For Families with Kids 👶

  • Bringing a familiar friend or relative that your kids love can be incredibly helpful! Even the most photogenic kids can feel shy in front of a camera, so having someone to help make them laugh and feel comfortable will ensure we capture their genuine smiles.

I can’t wait to see you in the bluebonnets! 🌸💙

THANK YOU again for trusting me to capture you this spring!

The bluebonnets are my favorite wildflowers and I can’t wait to create beautiful portraits you’ll cherish forever. See you soon! ✨
